Excerpt from When I Grow Up
It was a beautiful sunny day in <City, State>. More than anything else in the world, <First Name> <Middle Name> <Last Name>, age <Age>, wanted to be outside playing with <Friend 1, Friend 2 and Friend 3>. But today was a school day, and <First Name> was in his classroom.
"Today, I'd like you to write a report on what you want to be when you grow up," the teacher told the class. "Perhaps some of you will want to become a teacher just like me."
<First Name> chewed on his pencil as he thought about all the different careers to choose from.
"I love music. It might be fun to play the piano or be a dancer when I grow up," thought <First Name>. "It would be great to perform on a stage in front of an audience. Or maybe I could be a painter and work from my own studio."
Just then <First Name> remembered a western movie he had seen on TV last night.
"Oooh, that would be a great job," said <First Name> quietly to himself. "It would be so much fun--working on a farm, being outdoors all the time, milking the cows, riding horses and roping calves."
